What I keep in my pantry

My pantry always includes:
Packaged fat free vegetable broth
Packaged fat free chicken broth
Canned crushed tomatoes
Canned stewed tomatoes
Canned garbanzo beans for hummus

Dried beans I keep on hand are:
Pinto beans
Split peas
White navy beans
Red kidney beans
Garbanzos
Butter beans

I always have on hand:
Jasmine rice
Various rice mixes
Scottish oatmeal
Tortillas: corn, whole wheat, spinach
Eggs
Tofu
Soy cheese, low fat feta and/or cheddar

Fresh onions: white, red, yellow or sweet Vidalia
Fresh garlic in bulbs
Sweet potatoes
White potatoes, or Yukon Gold for flavor
Red, orange and yellow peppers
Packaged mixed greens
Eggplant
Carrots
Celery
Scallions
Spinach
Fresh thyme, fresh sage, fresh rosemary, fresh ginger root

Vegetables I may include if I see them fresh are:
Parsnips
Fennel
Leeks
Fresh English peas!
Asparagus
Mushrooms

Favorite dried spices include:
Sea salt finely ground
Coarse ground black pepper
Garlic powder (I go through maybe 5 oz a month)
Coriander seeds
Fennel seeds
Basil
Tarragon
Marjoram
Thyme
Cumino
Paprika
Cayenne pepper (a small bottle lasts me 10 years)
Oregano
Bay leaves
Turmeric
Cinnamon, powder and in sticks

Canned chicken noodle soup
Dreamfield’s pasta
rice noodles
kelp
fish sauce
low sodium soy sauce
chili garlic sauce orĀ Sriracha
white, red, black vinegar
sesame oil
tahini (sesame paste)
lime juice and lemon juice
tamarind paste
lemongrass in the freezer
dried peppers i.e. goat chili peppers
dried lily buds
black fungus aka wood ear
