Do not let the garlic burn. When the onions are golden, add the Veggie Ground and other ingredients,\u00a0\u00a0cover and let simmer about 20 minutes. Remove the lid and let the extra liquid evaporate. Serve on rice or inside a tortilla. You can also add a diced potato or squash in with the vegetables if you like. See ingredients etc below.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>One 12 oz package of<a href=\"http:\/\/www.yvesveggie.com\/products\/ground-rounds.php\"> Yves Veggie Ground<\/a> \u00a0(texturized soy protein) or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bocaburger.com\/products\/crumbles.aspx\">Boca Crumbles<\/a><br \/>\n4 garlic cloves finely chopped<br \/>\nA large onion, finely chopped<br \/>\n2 stalks of celery, chopped<br \/>\nA medium red or orange pepper<br \/>\nA medium yellow pepper<br \/>\nOne small 11 oz box of raisins or craisins<\/p>\n<p>Half of a 14 oz can of diced tomatoes with green chilis, with all the liquid<br \/>\n1 tablespoon any kind of vinegar<br \/>\n*A dozen pitted green olives stuffed with pimento (you can leave out if you don&#8217;t like)<br \/>\n*1\/3 cup of raisins (you can leave out if you don&#8217;t like)<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #993300;\">For my Cajun boyfriend, who likes a little heat, I add a tablespoon of chopped pickled jalapeno pepper slices and a few shakes of cayenne pepper.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>One package of HOT Taco Seasoning Mix<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">OR<\/span><br \/>\n1 tsp sea salt<br \/>\n1 tsp coarsely ground black pepper<br \/>\n1 tsp dried oregano<br \/>\n1 tsp cumin powder<br \/>\n2 tbsp chili powder<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp ground cinnamon<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp smoked paprika<br \/>\na shake of cayenne pepper<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brown the veggies in 1 tbsp of coconut or olive oil on medium heat.
