{"id":673,"date":"2013-09-19T15:10:52","date_gmt":"2013-09-19T19:10:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/?p=673"},"modified":"2014-03-23T16:12:59","modified_gmt":"2014-03-23T20:12:59","slug":"indian-spiced-cauliflower-bread","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/indian-spiced-cauliflower-bread\/","title":{"rendered":"Indian Spiced Cheesy Cauliflower Bread"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/cauliflower-pizza-bread1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-970\" alt=\"cauliflower pizza bread\" src=\"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/cauliflower-pizza-bread1.jpg\" width=\"216\" height=\"146\" \/><\/a>3 cloves garlic, grated or minced<br \/>\n2 large eggs, lightly beaten, or egg substitute<br \/>\n4 oz low fat mozzarella cheese or vegan cheese<br \/>\n1\/4 cup parmesean cheese<br \/>\n1 sprig of fresh rosemary, chopped fine<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon onion powder<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon coriander seeds crushed<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, crushed<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon fennel seeds, crushed<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon turmeric powder<br \/>\n1 teaspoon sea salt<br \/>\n1\/8 cup flour<br \/>\n1 teaspoon finely grated fresh ginger<br \/>\n1 teaspoon finely grated lime zest<br \/>\nSea salt and coarse ground black pepper<br \/>\n1 large head cauliflower, cored, broken into 1-inch florets<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Chop the raw cauliflower small and steam for about 15 minutes or until soft.<\/p>\n<p>IMPORTANT: After steaming the cauliflower, strain in a colander and then pour onto a clean tea towel and allow to cool 15 minutes. Then wrap it up in the dish towel and squeeze out as much water as possible.\u00a0 If you don&#8217;t do this, your crust will be chewy, not crispy.<\/p>\n<p>Place it into a food processor and blend until it&#8217;s the texture of mashed potatoes. In a bowl, stir together cauliflower, eggs, cheese, flour and spices. \u00a0Lightly spray a baking pan with olive oil and cover with a sheet of parchment paper. Press the mixture down into the paper until it&#8217;s about 1\/4 inch thick.
