First I ground a teaspoon each of\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.home-remedies-guide.com\/herbs\/fennel.htm\">fennel <\/a>seeds (licorce-y), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.home-remedies-guide.com\/herbs\/coriander.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">coriander seeds<\/a> (citrus-y),\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.home-remedies-guide.com\/herbs\/cumin-seeds.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cumin seeds<\/a> (smoky\/nutty),\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tips4.net\/2009\/02\/mustard-seeds-health-benefits-and-facts.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mustard seeds<\/a> (hot-ish)\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.home-remedies-guide.com\/herbs\/cardamom.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">black cardamom seeds<\/a> (aromatic, smoky\/cool) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.home-remedies-guide.com\/herbs\/fenugreek.htm\">fenugreek<\/a> seeds (maple-y)\u00a0 along with about a dozen mustard seeds, and added them to some heated coconut oil to saut\u00e9 for a minute or two. Then one small sliced onion and 3 small diced potatoes and cook until a little crisp. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano.<\/p>\n<p>I make a<a href=\"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/?p=571\">\u00a0personal spice blend<\/a>\u00a0ahead of time to keep on hand so when I make this, I just shake it out.<\/p>\n<p>Remove from the pan to keep crisp if you like, to add upon serving. To the now-empty pan, add chopped kale and a half cup of water or broth. Let the kale cook for about 10 minutes. \u00a0I made a romaine, tomato and carrot salad in a large bowl, topped it with the kale, and topped the kale with the crispy potatoes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/?p=571\">Andrea&#8217;s personal masala spice blend <\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/?p=168\">Spice up cooking with coriander, cumin, fennel, fenugreek seeds <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This morning&#8217;s breakfast was an onion, potato and kale hash.
