Place in slow cooker and add water to cover by 3&#8243;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">One 32-oz carton of low sodium chicken <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">broth<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">3 medium <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">carrots<\/span>, chopped <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">3 medium stalks <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">celery<\/span>, chopped <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 large <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">onion<\/span>, chopped<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 tablespoon <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">sea salt<\/span> <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 tablespoon <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">garlic powder<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 teaspoon <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">onion powder<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><br \/>\n1 teaspoon <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">cayenne pepper<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 teaspoon <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">paprika<\/span>, sweet or smoked<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 teaspoon dried <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">oregano<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 teaspoon dried <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">thyme<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">or 5 fresh sprigs<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 teaspoon freshly ground black <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">pepper<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I also add 8oz of cut up <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">mushrooms<\/span> so they can melt into the soup for flavor<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In 5-to 6-quart slow cooker, mix all ingredients.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Cover; cook on high heat setting 5 hours.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Keep checking, add water or broth as needed if the beans soak it up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">At the end, stir in <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">1 can of tomatoes <span style=\"color: #000000;\">and<\/span> 1 tsp &#8211; 1 tbsp vinegar<\/span>.
