Tahina sauce is thinner and used in sandwiches and dips.\u00a0 Used very often in Mediterrean dishes.<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<br \/>\n* 1\/2 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)<br \/>\n* 3 gloves garlic, crushed<br \/>\n* 1\/2 teaspoon sea salt<br \/>\n* 2 tablespoons olive oil<br \/>\n* 1\/4 cup lemon juice<br \/>\n* 1\/4 cup parsley, finely chopped (optional)<\/p>\n<p>Combine all in blender and blend until smooth. Add more lemon juice to thin it out.<\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><em>Here&#8217;s a recipe for a wrap I just made, trying to duplicate one I got at Mother Earth Market in Ocala.\u00a0 I call it my Spinach Carrot Hummus Wrap<\/em><\/span><\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/veg-carrot-hummus-wrap.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1344\" src=\"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/veg-carrot-hummus-wrap-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/veg-carrot-hummus-wrap-300x224.jpg 300w, http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/veg-carrot-hummus-wrap.jpg 440w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>You will use <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">10 Minute Hummus<\/span> for this recipe<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">10 MINUTE HUMMUS RECIPE<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n1 16 oz can of chickpeas or garbanzo beans<br \/>\n1\/4 cup liquid from can of chickpeas<br \/>\nJuice of one lemon (depending on taste)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>1- 1\/2 tablespoons tahini<br \/>\n5 cloves garlic, crushed<br \/>\n1 teaspoon sea salt<br \/>\n2 tablespoons olive oil<br \/>\nA handful of chopped parsley, maybe fluffing up to a cup including fluffy tops<\/p>\n<p><em>Preparation:<\/em><br \/>\nDrain chickpeas and set liquid aside for later. Combine remaining ingredients in blender or food processor. Add 1\/4 cup of liquid from chickpeas. Blend for 3-5 minutes on low until thoroughly mixed and smooth.<\/p>\n<p>If this was a dip, you&#8217;d add more garbanzo bean water to make it dippy.\u00a0 To keep it firmer and more sandwichey, less garbanzo water<\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>How To Assemble Your Carrot Hummus Spinach Wrap<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/veg-hummus-wrap.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1343\" src=\"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/veg-hummus-wrap-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/veg-hummus-wrap-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/veg-hummus-wrap-768x512.jpg 768w, http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/veg-hummus-wrap.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/veg-hummus-wrap-624x416.jpg 624w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Warm a tortilla wrap on the stove to soften it.\u00a0 As you assemble it, remember you will want to fold it over, or wrap it up, so leave room to do that.\u00a0 Or you can just leave it as a big sloppy hand feedbag like my cousin does, and\u00a0eats it over the sink.\u00a0 The spinach wraps are more fragile and tend to\u00a0split when folded.<\/p>\n<p>Place your tortilla wrap on the plate.\u00a0 Put 1-2 tablespoons of hummus in the center and spread it around the center.<\/p>\n<p>Put some fresh spinach leaves in the center.<br \/>\nAdd another 1-2 tbsp of hummus.<\/p>\n<p>Place a handful of carrot matchsticks on top of the hummus.<br \/>\nAdd another 1-2 tbsp. hummus or tahina sauce and fold up.<br \/>\nAwesome flavor, healthy, lowfat.<\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Another favorite wrap includes hummus and tabouli<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Tabouli <\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n1 cup cracked wheat (bulghur)<br \/>\n1 cup very hot water<br \/>\n1 small cucumber, chopped<br \/>\n1 small tomato, chopped<br \/>\n4 scallions, sliced<br \/>\n1\/2 cup fresh chopped mint<br \/>\n1 cup fresh chopped parsley<br \/>\n4 cloves garlic, minced (optional)1\/4 cup fresh lemon juice<br \/>\n4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil (to make it fatfree, use chickpea liquid or vegetable broth instead)<br \/>\nPepper and salt, to taste<br \/>\n(add a pinch of allspice if you like)<\/p>\n<p>Soak the cracked wheat in the hot water until the water is absorbed, about 30 minutes.<br \/>\nDrain any excess water, if necessary, and squeeze dry.<br \/>\nCombine the salad ingredients, including wheat, in a medium bowl.<br \/>\nMix the dressing ingredients together and stir into the salad mixture.<br \/>\nServe chilled or at room temperature.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ANDREA&#8217;S MULTI-DIMENSIONAL 4 WAY WRAP This is an easy, almost endless variety of sandwich ideas.
