I buy the Jennie-O italian seasoned one because it&#8217;s more highly spiced. I like my meatballs to be 1\/3 bread crumb mixture.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1\/4 cup of onion chopped fine<br \/>\n1\/4 cup\u00a0of fresh chopped chives<br \/>\n1\/2 cup\u00a0of fresh chopped basil<br \/>\n1\/2 cup\u00a0of fresh chopped parsley<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2 eggs or 1\/2 cup of Egg Beaters<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">1\/2 cup\u00a0of panko bread crumbs<br \/>\n1\/2 cup\u00a0of regular bread crumbs<br \/>\n1 tsp sea salt<br \/>\n1 tsp coarse ground black pepper \u00a0<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 tsp garlic powder<br \/>\n1 tsp\u00a0 crushed fresh fennel seeds<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1\/2 tsp ground cinnamon<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> 1\/2 tsp smoked paprika<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> 1\/2 tsp cumin powder<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> 1\/2 tsp Liquid Smoke<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Shake of cayenne pepper<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1\/4 cup of mayo<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 tbsp dijon mustard<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You&#8217;re going for an oatmeal texture before you add in the 1 lb of lean ground turkey.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.71429; font-size: 1rem; color: #000000;\">Have two trays ready with parchment paper on them. \u00a0I make small meatballs, like the size of a ping pong ball. If you make yours bigger, cook them longer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.71429; font-size: 1rem;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Form the meatballs in your hand, using a generous tablespoon of the mixture for each. Roll meatballs in additional bread crumbs to coat. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.71429; font-size: 1rem;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Either preheat the oven to 425 or add 2 tbs olive oil to a pan at medium heat. \u00a0Place on cookie sheets and into the oven for 20 minutes, or in the saute pan, side by side. \u00a0In the pan, brown several minutes on one side, then turn over, cover pan and lower the heat. \u00a0Cook until cooked though, 5-10 more minutes. \u00a0They look kinda gnarly with the herbs\u00a0all sticking out but they are really good.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve also stuck a piece of feta or bleu cheese in the middle, which is really good.<\/p>\n<p class=\"entry-title\">RELATED:\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/semi-homemade-turkey-meatball-veggie-soup\/\" rel=\"bookmark\">Low Fat Semi-Homemade Turkey Meatball Veggie Soup<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I like to\u00a0use lean ground turkey instead of beef or pork to keep it low fat.
